Before you begin

You will need a Sortd API key with the appropriate permissions. API keys can be created from Sortd Settings → API inside Gmail.

For security:

  • Grant only the permissions your integration or agent needs.

  • Start with draft creation and human review where appropriate.

  • Store your API secret securely.

  • Never include an API secret in an email, screenshot or public file.
