As we continue to invest heavily in Sortd, especially across collaboration, automation, and our new AI features, we have reviewed our pricing, and in the process we have decided to sunset the Free plan. To keep using Sortd without interruption, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan.
When is the free plan going to be discontinued?
If you are on the free plan, from March 1st 2026, you will no longer be able to add emails to existing boards until you upgrade to one of the paid plans (below).
What you need to do before the change
You will not lose access to any of your data in Sortd. However, for peace of mind you might want to download your Sortd data. You can do this from the table view. Look for the download icon at the top right. Emails are not exported but your card details will be.
Why we have taken the decision to remove the free plan
No sugarcoating it - there’s nothing great about hearing that you need to spend even a dollar more than you had to spend yesterday with nothing more to show for it. Sorry to drop this news - but it simply doesn’t make business sense for us to offer a free plan anymore. You have every right to export your Sortd data and to look at alternative solutions, and we’ll support you in that effort as best as we can. But we are hoping that with the new features we’re launching and a very attractive offer (that none of our other users are getting) you will choose to stay.
